Move an activity between folders

You can now (finally 😅) move activities between folders. Head over to the Activities tab of a folder to move an activity from one folder to another. Click on the context menu (three vertical dots) and select the Move to different folder option. All related data will be transferred as well.

🚨Please note: 🚨 Only 1 activity can be moved between folders at a time. You must have "Full access" folder privileges in order to move an activity.

If there are members of the folder you are moving the activity from (the origin folder) who are not members of the folder you are moving the activity to (the destination folder) you will have the option to invite those users to the destination folder if you desire. If not, any time entry data the user from the origin folder created will be archived under the origin folder.

The same goes for billable time: If it is not enabled in the destination folder you will have the option to do so when moving the activity between folders.

An activity from a workspace folder cannot be moved to a non-workspace folder however you can move an activity from a non-workspace folder to a workspace folder.

Rearranging activities within folders

You can now change the order of activities within folders. To do so click on the Activities tab within a folder and then click and drag the "handle" to the left of any activity and place them in the order you prefer. The order of the activity will apply only to your account and not affect any other workspace or folder members.

Rearranging folders

If you'd like to customize the order in which the folders are displayed you can do so via the Settings > Folders area of the Timeular app. Click and drag the "handle" to the left of any of the folders are arrange them how you'd like them to be displayed. Any changes made to the folder order will only affect your account and not any other workspace or folder members.
